Muse Buttoned Fringe Scarf

Winter is coming, which means scarf season is upon us!  I love a good scarf.  It seems you can never have enough of them.

I saw this yarn on sale at Michael’s called Muse by Loops and Threads and instantly loved it.  It’s a really nice crisp grey with bits of black wrapped around in different places.

I don’t believe they sell it in store any more but luckily I snapped a pic before I used the skein.

For this scarf, I followed the pattern by the Boho Crochet Wrap by All About Ami.  Using only 3 skeins, I made mine quite a bit smaller in size to fit more as a scarf.

One of my favourite parts of this piece is the sugar skull buttons I added from Brick Bubble to hold the ends together.  I think the buttons are complimented really well with the bits of black in the yarn and the black fringe.

For the fringe I used Loops and Threads Impeccable in black.  I decided on black to bring out the black spun through out the Muse yarn.

This has been my favorite wrap/scarf to wear so far this season.  Thanks for stopping by, you can check out other scarves I’ve made here. 🙂

Also be sure to check out All About Ami for lots of amazing free patterns and Brick Bubble for tons of unique buttons and tags!

If you are interested, the wine glass pictured with the Muse yarn is also available for sale in my Etsy shop.
