Welcome to 2018! I hope every one had a good holiday and a happy new year. It was quite the year for us with lots of highs and lows which took me away from creating and blogging for a while. But now it is the New Year and with life settled down I am hoping to get right back into it… starting this is lovely baby romper!
Last summer we welcomed our (first!) beautiful baby niece into the family. 🙂 Naturally I wanted to make something for her but being that she was born in July, blankets and hats seemed a little too much. Continue reading “Baby Romper Set”
I was so excited when I got a special request a few months ago to make a hooded dinosaur blanket for my nephew. As you may already know if you’ve been here before, I also have a big dinosaur fan in my house so this was a really fun project to work on! Continue reading “Hooded Dinosaur Blanket”
Hello! If you are reading this then that means you haven’t gotten sick of all my hat postings over the last little while, so thank you! I know it’s been a little excessive, but I promise with Spring on the horizon I will get to other projects soon. 🙂 Continue reading “Headphone Hat”
This past year, I wanted to take photos of my son for our Christmas card so I whipped up this simple and classic beanie hat for him to wear.

These mittens are for mommy and with a little one in mind. I always find it hard to hold onto my son’s hand with a decent grip while we’re both wearing mittens. This is the perfect way to keep both our hands warm and keep kiddos safe. Continue reading “Mommy & Me Mittens”
Last year I found my son a black and green winter coat and one of my favourite things about having to get him new coats is being able to make new hats to match!

Like a lot of little boys, my son loves dinosaurs (he’s got his dino-roar down to a tee!). I made him this hat last winter and it’s had it’s fair share of use this winter.

Crochet projects are like Lay’s Potato chips… Continue reading “Amish Puzzle Ball”
I made this little lapgan for my stepson so he would have his own snuggle blanket (as most of us do). I picked another variegated yarn that I like just as I did with the Granny Stripe Blanket. Continue reading “Granny Rectangle Afghan”
Mmmm mmm… cupcakes! Aren’t these little crochet cupcakes adorable? Almost good enough to eat, but so cute that you couldn’t! Continue reading “Mini Cupcakes”
